The client is an educational technology startup dedicated to helping kids acquire the skills they need to be a fluent reader. He/she is a creative thinker, resourceful problem solver, and thrives while working with a cross-functional team. Moreover, You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use. Nevertheless, the role is located in Mumbai India and reports to the Sr. Project Manager in India.

Responsibilities:

• Firstly, Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
• Mainly, Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Moreover, Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Create and maintain information architecture.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in developing technical documentation for software products.
• Thorough understanding of software development/product development life cycle, agile methodologies.
• At least 3-4. experience is preferred.
• Must have a good understanding of DFD, ERDs Decision Trees Tables etc. Using MS-Visio and MS-Word.
• Collaborate with various teams (including Product Management, Customer Success, Technical Support, etc.) in planning, developing, and maintaining training assets.
• Exposure to editing Swagger annotations will be a plus.
• Should have strong communication skills. Must be able to take complex, technical information and translate it for colleagues and consumers who have nontechnical backgrounds.
• Nevertheless,  detail-oriented and should work well with the team.
• Besides, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or another related field preferred.
• Likewise, Must have excellent writing skills to be able to explain technical information clearly Organize and write supporting documents for products.
• Moreover, Standardize content across platforms and media.
• Generally, Revise documents as new issues arise.
• Finally, Examples of work done if available on open internet will be a plus.

Required Software knowledge:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• MS Visio
• Confluence
• Atlassian JIRA

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in a startup.
