Job Description:

Senior Developer – AEM

Position Overview:

Basically, the Senior Developer is expected to take accountability of all technical deliveries developed using Adobe Experience Manager. The Senior Developer would be responsible for Solution, Design, Develop and Deliver world-class quality code in AEM platform.

Position Summary:

• Basically, Responsible for working with the Product Owner/Product Manager to capture business requirements.
• Primarily, Responsible for writing world-class quality code and unit testing (automated). “Do it right the first time” approach with the developer being responsible for his/her own code quality.
• Moreover, Responsible for following development practices and often refactoring code to reduce technical debt.
• Likewise, Create documentation as necessary.
• Similarily, Responsible for delivering working software of highest quality, meeting specifications and agreed timelines.
• Generally, Responsible for reviewing the code of team members.
• Nevertheless, Responsible for fixing product defects and attending to critical production issues.
• Nonetheless, This will require working as a Scrum team member in an Agile Scrum model, and to interact closely with multiple stakeholders like Product Owner, System Architects, Management, dependent Scrum teams, DevOps, etc.
• Furthermore, Provide estimates of user stories in Story Points, and detailed task estimates in hours.
• Finally, Showcase technical leadership capabilities to own the delivery end to end.

AEM Developer 

Required Skills/Experience:

• 6-8 years of software engineering experience.
• Nevertheless, Strong coding experience of Java-based Web Applications.
• Primarily, 2-3 years of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Development experience required.
• Besides, Experience building large scale web applications.
• Likewise, Should possess a strong understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Additionally, Sound knowledge of Java and OOP fundamentals.
• Similarily, Working knowledge of Web technologies like HTML5, Javascript, JSP, Templates, JCR
• 3+ years’ experience of Scrum or similar agile development methodology required
• Furthermore, Experience in Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery is desired.
• Additionally, Hosting in Amazon AWS or similar cloud hosting will be an added advantage.
• Nevertheless, Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self-manage time, manage workload, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Education: Any graduation or post-graduation is fine. Computer Science Engineer is preferred
