Basically, Developing new GIS products and improving existing products. – Trans-Analyst & STeM

GIS Developer Responsibilities

ESRI ArcGIS programming ability and knowledge of spatial and data management tools (Spatial Analyst and raster operations)
Create, customize and maintain ESRI ArcGIS-based applications and APIs using ArcGIS Server JavaScript API / ArcGIS Online/Portal application builder for developers.
Besides, Provide support and maintenance for the developed solutions.
Likewise, Provide data management and application development support as required.
Furthermore, Performs spatial analysis of geographic data using ESRI programs.
Similarily, Collaborates with stakeholders on changes associated with system implementations, conversions, and upgrades.

GIS Developer Requirement

Basically, Bachelors in GIS Sciences or Computer Sciences.
Primarily, At least 5 years’ experience working as a developer or similar positions.
Nevertheless, Hands-on experience on ArcPy and Python.
Proficiency with programming languages such as SQL, R or Python.
Proficiency with front ends design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and various mapping languages.
Hands-on experience on ArcGIS Platform.
