About the client

Firstly, The client is seeking an iOS Software Engineer who will work with the internal team (engineering, product, educational curriculum) and external engineering teams to develop and extend our mobile-based services. Besides, Educational Cloud Platform delivers critical functionality to our innovative educational technology products.

Generally, The primary duties of the iOS Software Engineer will include developing the iOS SDK that interfaces with the Square Panda Educational Cloud Platform and other mobile applications. Additional duties will include developing internal tools, technical research projects, supporting partners and internal stakeholders and other duties as required.

Mostly, the successful candidate will be strongly versed in software development processes. Similarily, Previous experience with shipping, consumer product and SDK development is a big plus. Furthermore, the team is fun-loving, quirky, and full of self-starters. This position of an IOS Developer Jobs reports to the Product Owner, with important relationships to the Product Team

Responsibilities

1. Additionally, Adding innovative features to our mobile and cloud services.
2. Nevertheless, Extend and improve our existing software.
3. Besides, Debug issues and fix bugs.
4. Improve and extend product documentation.
5. Work collaboratively with other arms of the other teams that are co-located in other countries.
6. Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop product requirements and innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or a related field and relevant experience.
• 3- 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Should be worked on BLE hardware implementation.
• Should have a better knowledge of Objective-c and Swift.

Strong software development skills such as:

• Firstly, Experience with a source control system.
• Mainly, Experience with an issue tracking system.
• Similarily, Writing and maintaining your own unit tests.
• Furthermore, Writing code in standard design patterns.
• Likewise, Experience with the design and development life-cycle.
• Mandatorily, Knowledge of debugging and problem-solving methodology, particularly as reported against Production software.
• To conclude, Experience doing mobile app development for iOS and having SDK development experience to be an add-on.

Strong experience in many of the following areas:

• Modern, object-oriented programming languages: Java, C++, Scala, Ruby.
• Programming frameworks: Spring, MVC, NodeJS.
• REST-compliant API’s, SOA.
• Excellent communication skills.
