Design and execute test cases to improve the usability of our products; should be hard-working, have a strong working knowledge of testing methodologies. Excellent knowledge of STLC. Perform other testing-related duties as required.

Manual QA Tester Jobs in Mohali Punjab

Duties and Responsibilities 

A. Technical for a Quality Assurance Testing Jobs

• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure the quality of the products and tests to develop; i.e., perform manual static testing.
• Design and execute test cases.
• Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
• Likewise, Analyzing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Besides, Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Finally, Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.

 B. Results Tracking and Reporting for a Manual Testing Jobs

• Research and document bug reports following agreed-upon processes immediately upon discovery of a quality problem.
• Update test execution status following agreed-upon processes as part of regularly-scheduled test status updates.
• Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks.
• Assist the Team Lead in the creation of test project status reports and metrics (e.g., Test Dashboard).

 C. Management and Supervisory for a QA Tester Manual Testing

• Firstly, Provide the Team Lead with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
• Assist the Test Lead in preparing test plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Besides, Provide technical guidance to junior-level test engineers assigned to assist the Manual Test Engineers.
• Lastly, Provide the Test Lead with performance assessments for assigned junior personnel.

 D. Skills and Education for a Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Test Engineer.
• Tech in Computer Science/MCA or similar relevant field.
• Besides, Hands-on experience with any test case writing tool.
• Similarily, Well versed with Bug Lifecycle.
• Lastly, Excellent team working and critical thinking skills.

 E. Attitudes and Initiative for a Test Engineer – QA Manual Testing

• Firstly, Develop and maintain suitable professional working relationships, especially within the test team and with those who regularly interact with the test team.
• Moreover, Focus on the critical testing and project priorities as agreed-upon with the test lead.
• Similarily, Show initiative in setting and meeting goals within an environment of managed change.
• Lastly, Understand the role of testing within the software development lifecycle and business-related project constraints, and effectively advocate for the best possible customer experience of product quality within those parameters.
