We are looking for ambitious and energetic candidates to help us expand our clientele. You will need to define long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. You will need to use your networking and communication skills to identify and address clients’ needs. The role requires a lot of creative thinking, to spot new opportunities and to establish rapid growth. This is an Individual Contributor role, reporting to the General Manager – Sales and Operations. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

The client is a food production company making millet based snacks. Our mission is to make good and healthy millet food available for everyone. The company was founded in 2016, with a world-class manufacturing facility in Mandya, Karnataka with corporate office in Bangalore.
The idea of the client is to provide healthy food made from locally sourced millet and from the hands of the farmers. The client follows sustainability to the core in all practices. Sustainability in terms of production and delivery processes, economic and environmental sustainability.
The client envisions creating healthy snacking habits among its consumers. Creating awareness of consuming millet as a staple food and including it as a part of daily dietary habits is one of our objectives.
Different varieties of Snacking options like cookies, bars, Chikkis, Laddus and Extruder products completely based out of Millets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect new clients by networking, cold calling, utilizing the company’s digital platform to
generate interest from potential clients and ensure a robust line of opportunities. - Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization.
- Communicate product and pricing details clearly
- Generally, To generate Sales in General trade, local shops and standalone supermarkets
- Primarily, To deal/negotiate with distributors and identify the potential territories.
- To look for opportunities in Tier 2 cities and areas in metropolitan cities.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Providing after-sales support to retain customers
- Promote new products/services to existing customers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve better results
- Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales, and status reports
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends
Requirements for a Retail Sales Executive Jobs :
- Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
