Job Description: Supply Chain Manager Jobs in Chennai

Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Strategy & Risk Management:

• Mandatorily, To bring about planning for the smooth running of fulfilling customer orders.
• Basically, To define SLA & KPI for the supply chain team & partners.
• Primarily, To manage all possible risk in Supply Chain.
• Otherwise,  Alternate OEM / ODM partners.
• Moreover, Alternate component manufacturer.
• To summarize, Any EOL component.
• To conclude, Other supply chain disruptions.

Sourcing:

• Primarily, To source OEM / ODM partner, vendor management component manufacturer across the globe (Predominantly in regions of operations in China & India).
• Secondly, To successfully screen, evaluate, negotiate, qualify and onboard sourced OEM / ODM partners.
• Finally, To identify & Negotiate a reasonable agreement with OEM/ ODM partners for WIN-WIN deal (for long term relationship): Price, Payment terms, Lead time, operational continuity, quality levels.

Procurement:

•  Mainely, To manage the needs of R&D, QUA, MEC, ARC component procurement.

Work from Home options available 

Inventory Management:

• Primarily, Work closely with FIN and to maintain an optimal level of stock inventory (FG, Components, Supplies) to strike a balance between opportunity cost, Holding cost, Economies of scale, MOQ.
•  Mainly, To manage stock in different regions (India & China)
• Similarily, To maintain manufacturing at multiple capacities (OEM)

Logistics:

•  Firstly, To ship FG from OEM manufacturer to customer (Across Globe)
•  Primarily, To transport material with the organization (from one centre to others)
•  Lastly, To create a logistics strategy from the movement of RMA / RGA

Reporting & Analysis:

•  Firstly, To report information to stakeholders (MCO, MEC, QUA) on Inventory, AVL, FG.
•  Besides, To be able to forecast based on inputs from FIN (orders) & existing inventory.
•  Likewise, To maintain a database of all FG to the customer, RMA.
•  Moreover, To get, analyze and report information from partners.
•  Lastly, To monitor and manage all SLA related to partners & highlight the same for SLA breach

Legal:

•  Likewise, To able to scrutinize all legal contracts & terms with partners

Required traits:

• Primarily, Extreme attention to detail.
• Similarily, Self-motivation under time constraints.
• Besides, Building up a rapport with partners

Qualification and Experience:

• Location: Chennai / Work from home.
• Education/Qualification: BE/ MBA (Logistics and Supply Chain)
• CSCP Certification or similar

Experience: 8 yrs min

Role: Global Supply Chain – Manager
Functional Area: Purchase/ Material/ Supply Chain/ Stores/ Warehouse.
