Applications Engineer  Jobs (Job Description)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Validation (Primary Function)

• Firstly, Developing Bench Validation and Characterization Plans, hardware and software. 
• Secondly, Ensuring the Validation Hardware can accurately measure the AC and DC parameters of the DUT through designing of measurement methods and associated hardware, algorithms and software.
• Besides, Designing and Implementing various Automation methods for bench characterization. 
• Likewise, Assisting the design team in debugging of the Silicon and supporting customer queries.
• Moreover, Engaging with the design team to review and provide feedback on test coverage, testability and test optimization.
• Additionally, Establishing a correlation of measured parameters with bench characterization and designed values.
• Nevertheless, Applications Engineering and Customer Support (Other responsibilities)
• Furthermore, Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to solve their complete analogue system requirements utilizing AURA chipsets.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge to proactively drive customer activity.
• Besides, Ability to work with the Sales and FAE to develop a winning solution for the Customer.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Nevertheless, Power to efficiently context – switch between multiple concurrent tasks.
• Lastly, Understanding the Customer System to fine-tune the performance of the device for the use case.

Requirements for an Application Engineer Jobs in Bellandur Bangalore 

• Firstly, A technology-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent training with a minimum of three years of related experience. 
• Secondly, Validation/Applications engineering or test and measurement (time and frequency domain) experience is a plus. 
• Besides, Strong fundamentals. Moreover, good knowledge of circuit analysis and design.
• Moreover, Familiarity with schematic capture. Besides, PCB design skills, circuit-level simulation tools.
• Similarily, Expertise with standard lab equipment. Additionally, such as power supplies, High Bandwidth Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer, Phase Noise Meters, Frequency Counter etc.
• Strong knowledge in Power, mixed-signal or Analog PCB design and debug, including CAD interface.
• Specific experience with High-speed Timing/RF/Power Management chipsets and the creation of their test and measurement solution is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Python/C/C++ is good to have. 
• Lastly, Understanding of Transistor level circuit design is good to have for more involved chip debug and Hardware Design.
